A Bit of History

Audi was founded in 1909 and today is a part of the VAG (Volkswagen Auto Group) headquartered in Wolfsburg, Germany. The first Audi introduced into the US market was the 1969 Audi Super 90. It was a four-door car that was considered ugly even by the people that made it so it's no surprise that it didn't sell well. A year later, the Audi 100 was revealed and they could not keep up with the demand.
